Neda Threet

Neda Threet, 78, of Haskell, TX, passed away peacefully at home on April 2, 2018. A funeral service will be held at 1:00p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the First Baptist Church, Rule with Rev. Scott Hensley officiating and assisted by Neda's nephew Ricky Null. Burial will follow services at Willow Cemetery, Haskell under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned from 6:00-8:00p.m., Friday, April 6, 2018, at the funeral home, 304 N 2nd St., Haskell, TX.

Neda was born in Van Alstyne, TX on September 20, 1939 to Helen (Wiggins) and Troy Wright. She married Jerry Don Threet on March 29, 1958. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rule.

She is survived by her four children, Charles Threet of Austin, Judy Wolsch and husband David of Lake Stamford, Rodney Threet of Austin, and Terry Threet and wife Tina of Rule; two sisters, Hellen Null of Rockwall, and Opal Aldridge of Garland; three brothers, Bobby Wright and wife Mary of Rockwall, Ken Wright and wife Susie of Wolfe City, and Gary Wright and wife Jeanette of Quinlan; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen (Wiggins) and Troy Wright; and husband, Jerry Don Threet.
