Olen R. "Bobby" Kittley

On August 3, 2018, Olen Robert "Bobby" Kittley, 83, of Rule passed away at Haskell Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be held at the Rule Church of Christ on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 2:00p.m. Burial will follow services at the Rule Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned from 7:00-8:00p.m., August 4, 2018 at the funeral home, 600 Robins Ave., Rule, TX.

Born November 1, 1934 in Rule, Texas to Ollie and Maudie Kittley. He married Jere Sego on February 13, 1955 in Rochester. Bobby farmed all of his life, enjoyed following his kids and grandkids sports' activities, and especially loved being with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Jere; one son, William Kyle Kittley; sister, Pauline Kieke and husband Oswald; and brother-in-law, Sandy Sanderson.

Survivors include four sons, Rob Kittley and wife Shannon of Rule, Wes Kittley and wife Linda of Lubbock, Rick Kittley and wife Beth of Rule, and Danny Kittley and wife Nikki of Abilene; 11 grandsons, Trey Kittley and wife Lauren of Iraan, Will Kittley and wife Macy of Henrietta, Jonathan Kittley and wife Callie of Cross Plains, Chris Kittley and wife Bre of Lubbock, Zach Kittley and wife Emily of Sugar Land, Kyle Kittley and wife Cortney of Rule, Kolt Kittley and wife Haley of Magnolia, Kade Kittley and wife Jaci of Rule, Luke Kittley and wife Jensen of Round Rock, Ben Kittley and wife Jordan of Abilene, and Nate Kittley of Abilene; granddaughter, Samantha (Kittley) Daniel and husband Quentin of Whiteface; sister, Helen Sanderson of Plano; and 18 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Vista Bank for the Rule ISD Scholarship Fund in his name.
