Otis Gwendolyn Ejem

Otis Gwendolyn Ejem gained her angel wings on Monday, December 5, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the Cornerstone Fellowship Baptist Church in Haskell with Rev. Josh Fitchett officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Weinert Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Gwen was born on August 12,1947 in Stamford, TX to John and Margaret Freeman. Gwen was a devoted Christian woman who loved spending time with her family. One thing she loved for sure was her grandchildren, each and every one of them dearly.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Jody Freeman of Haskell, TX; daughter, Sherri Ejem (Randy) of Knox City, TX; two special bonus daughters, Michelle Martinez Gonzalez (Luis) of Kansas City, MO., and Rochelle Martinez of Schertz, TX; twelve grandchildren, Madison, Bailey and Keagan Espinosa of Knox City, TX, Evalyn, Eduardo, Marisol, Perla, Ariadna, and Edgar Martinez Gonzalez of Kansas City, MO, Aden Aguero, Sebastian and Olivia Vance of Schertz, TX; special friend Melodee Christian and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Charile Ejem; parents, John and Margaret Freeman and sister Gayle Freeman.
