Pam Heezen, 65, a longtime resident of Haskell, TX, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018. A funeral service will be held at 2:00p.m., Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the First Baptist Church, Haskell with Bro. Ollie Pierson officiating. Burial will follow services at the Rule Cemetery, Rule,TX under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell.
Pam was born March 7, 1953 in Haskell, TX, to Allene (Brown) and Ruric Wilson. She married Greg Heezen on July 22, 1994 in Odessa, TX. Pam grew up in Rule, and graduated High School in 1971. She attended Hardin Simmons University where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in biology, and a medical technology certification. She later pursued a teaching degree and taught at Paint Creek and Rule. Later she retired as a math and science teacher from Ector Co. ISD. Pam was very active in her Sunday School class and with the Haskell Co., Noah Project. She started and lead the christian fellowship group, Tuesday Morning with Pam and Friends.
She is survived by her sister, Debbie Tanner and husband Kenny of Rule; brother, Jack Wilson and wife Suzie of Olney; three step daughters, Stacie Hopson and husband Keith, Deiann Davis and husband Gaylon both of Mineral Wells, and May Heezen of Thailand; step son, Toby Dennis of Lipan; step grandchildren, Trevor, Casen, Kasey, Kyle, Kolton, and Kayle and husband Cody; step great-grandchildren, McKenna and Mason; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins,
She is preceded in death by her mother, Allene (Brown) Wilson; father, Ruric Wilson; and husband Greg Heezen.
