Pansy Ruth Moore Harris

Pansy Ruth Moore Harris, 91, a longtime resident of Haskell, TX, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM, Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the Willow Cemetery in Haskell, TX. with Rev. Peter Parker officiating, under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Pansy was born September 11, 1931 in Haskell, TX to Gracie May Medford Moore and Oscar Lee Moore. She graduated Haskell High School in 1950. She married Henry Harris on May 4, 1950. She was a farmer's wife and "gofer." She was known as Gransy by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and all their friends. She loved to serve, cook, clean, sew and enjoyed yard and garden work. She enjoyed fishing and times at the lake with family and friends. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, being enrolled on day of birth in cradle roll and baptized in 1941.

She is survived and blessed by her three wonderful daughters and awesome son-in-laws, Pam and husband Charles Gibson of Haskell, Pat and husband Jim Bob Mickler of Lake Coleman, Peggy and husband Micheal Adams of Haskell; four grandsons, Chad and wife Kristi Gibson of Haskell, Paul and wife Misty Gibson of Haskell, J. and wife Kristen Mickler of Austin, Josh and wife Shay Mickler of Coleman; two granddaughters, Paige and husband Jacob Akins of Haskell, Kelsie and husband Alex Johnson of Shallowater; great grandchildren, Chase and wife Sheridan, Kourtney and Will Gibson, Dylan, Ethan and Wyatt Mickler, Warren and Mayson Akins; special friend, Birdie Goudeau of Haskell.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Gracie Moore, husband, Henry Harris; three brothers, Theo, Velton, Dewayne Moore; sister, Onella Moore.
