Ralph Torres

Ralph Torres, 77, a longtime resident of Rule, TX, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022. A memorial graveside service will be held at Rule Cemetery,  8:30am, July 16, 2022. Cremation services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Rule, TX.

Ralph was born December 6,1944, in Pearsall, TX, to Helen (Del Toro) and Alex Torres. He served on the Rule City Council and on the Rule VFD for 38 years. He loved his grandchildren and his great grandkids, but his lifelong passion was driving a tractor and farming.

He is survived by his wife, Dora (Macias) Torres; son, Joe Ray and wife Linda Torres; two granddaughters, Jaclyn Harris and husband Jarron, and Jade Torres; grandson, Jeremy Torres; three great grandchildren, Jett Thomas Harris, Jackson Olivia Harris, and Jay Player Harris.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Alex Torres; two brothers, Pete Torres and Ray Torres.
