Ramon Flores, 88, a longtime resident of Rochester, TX, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 3, 2017 at the Rochester Cemetery with Deacon Julian Estrada officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Rochester.
Ramon was born December 11, 1928 in Wisconsin, to Manuel Flores and Angelita Flores. He married Angelita Hernandez and later resided in Rochester, TX, where he worked as a farmer.
He is survived by two sisters, Lupe Gonzales of Marble Falls, and Teresa Ybarra of San Antonio; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Angelita Flores; wife, Angelita "Hernandez" Flores; two brothers, Demertio Flores, and Jose Flores; and sister, Angelita Vela.
