Reynaldo "Ray" Acosta

Reynaldo "Ray" R. Acosta, 69, passed away Monday December 09, 2019 in Tampa Florida. Graveside services will be held at 11:00a.m., Monday, December 16, 2019 at Willow Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell.

He was born in Haskell on September 7, 1950 the son of Alicia (Rosales) and Ray Acosta Sr.

Ray is a former resident of Haskell. He was a member of Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa. He had friends throughout the country. He never met a stranger.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Alicia Acosta.

He is survived by his children, Pam Acosta, Stephen (Kayleen) Acosta, Ashley (Jake) LeHeup; one grandson, Stephen Acosta Jr; siblings, Yolanda (Edmund) Casillas, Enrique (Carol) Acosta, Julio Acosta, Robert Acosta, Alice (Roger) Fuentes, Elaine Bradford; uncles and aunts, Ramon and Freddie Acosta, Ruben Rosales, Lita Lugo, Eva Martinez, Irenia Perez; 6 nephews, 3 nieces, 5 great nephews, 4 great nieces, and many cousins.
