Riley James Pace, III, 37, a life long resident of Haskell, TX, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 at United Regional Hospital, Wichita Falls. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m, Thursday, October 27, 2016, at the First Baptist Church, Haskell, with Rev. Dusty Garison officiating. Burial will follow the service at Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at the funeral home, 304 N 2nd St., Haskell, TX 79521.

Riley was born May 16, 1979 in Haskell to Connie (Weeaks) Pace and Riley James Pace, Jr. He graduated Paint Creek High School and worked as a farmer for Pace Farms. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Riley loved hunting, fishing (especially with his children), and riding his Harley-Davidson.

He is survived by his daughter, K'Lee Nicole Pace of Rankin; son, Wyatt Gavin Pace of Corpus Christi; girlfriend and best friend, Heather Simpson of Rule; mother, Connie Pace of Abilene; father, Riley James Pace, Jr. of Haskell; two sisters, Emily Wheat of Abilene, and Misti Isbell of Haskell; two brothers, Chris Shelton of Rochester, and Randall Pace of McCaulley; grandfather, Riley James Pace, Sr. of Haskell; grandmother, Flora Pace of Haskell; and special cousin, Ronnie Weeaks of Haskell.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Elwood Weeaks; maternal grandmother, Faye Weeaks; and sister, Crystal Motley-Bonds.
