Riley James Pace, Jr. "Jim"

Riley James Pace, Jr. "Jim", passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Jim was a lifelong resident of Haskell, Texas. A memorial graveside service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 10:00am, at the Willow Cemetery in Haskell, Texas. Rev. Rick Moeller will be officiating under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell.

Jim was born August 3, 1951 in Haskell, Texas to Flora (Sego) and Riley James Pace, Sr. "Bud". Jim was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church in Haskell. Jim graduated Paint Creek High School and attended TSTI in Sweetwater where he studied Ag Business. Jim was a farmer all his life and passed on his love of the land and farming to his children. He loved checking the cows, Ford trucks, race cars and racing. He also loved his music, drinks with friends and family. Jim was a rodeo clown and enjoyed bull riding. His dogs (Kelly and Roxy) will miss him very much.

He is survived by his mother, Flora Pace of Haskell, Texas; son, Randall Pace of Haskell, Texas; step-daughters, Emily Wilson and Trajan of Hamlin, Texas, Misti Isbell and Jason of Haskell, Texas; grandchildren, K'Lee, Wyatt, Krislyn, Emma, Lilly, Aubrey, Logan, Carley, Presley, and Rilynn. Wife of 23 years and friend until the end, Tiny Pace of McCaulley, Texas. Best Friend, Sheila Snodgrass.

He is preceded in death by his father, Riley James Pace, Sr. "Bud"; and son, Riley James Pace, III.
