Robert Andrew Bartley

Robert Andrew Bartley, 78, of Haskell, TX, passed away July 17, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, July 21, 2022, at the First Methodist Church, Haskell, TX. Burial will follow services at the Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned from 6-7:00PM, Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at the funeral home, 304 N 2nd Street, Haskell, TX.

Robert was born November 10, 1943, in Haskell, Texas, to Katherine (Harvey) and Olen Bartley. He enjoyed sports of all kinds; especially Haskell Indians and Maidens and more especially watching his grandsons be Haskell Indians. He loved games, card games and dominos. His hobbies included reading and puzzles. He was a member of Cross Country Emmaus, and a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church in Haskell.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy of Haskell, daughters, Misti Bartley of Haskell, Christi Wheat of Haskell; grandsons, Caleb Wheat of Wichita Falls, Cooper Wheat of Haskell; three sisters, Ella Mae Bartley, Eva Bartley, Linda Bartley all from Lubbock; two sister-in-laws, Sandy Sanford and spouse Bobby of Weinert, Patty Bartley of Peoria, Illinois; brother-in-law, Van Josselet of Lubbock, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Katherine and Olen Bartley; and brother, Doug Bartley.
