Robert Wayne Clower

Robert Wayne Clower, 68, of Electra, TX, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021. A memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the Benjamin, TX cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Knox City.

Robert was born February 24, 1953, in Knox City, TX, to Gloria (Lemley) West and Billy Joe Clower. He grew up in Benjamin and graduated from High School there. Robert worked as truck driver and that took him all over the country. He eventually settled in Electra, where he has lived for over 20 years.

He is survived by 2 sisters, Cathy Tomlinson of Denton, and Betty Bowman and her husband Tom of Dickens; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Clower; mother and step-father, Gloria and Leroy West; grandparents C. B. and Maudie Clower; and a brother, Bud Clower.
