Robert Wayne Hare

Robert Wayne Hare, 54, of Throckmorton, Texas passed away, Friday, May 21, 2021. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, May 27, 2021, at the Smith Family Funeral Homes Chapel, Throckmorton with Mr. Bob Carruthers officiating. Burial will follow service at Throckmorton Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned from 6:00-7:00PM, Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the funeral home, 107 N Austin, Throckmorton.

Robert was born January 23, 1967 to Connie (Holt) Springer and Robert "Bobby" Hare. He married Sonia Reyes in Eastland, TX in 2005 and they enjoyed 16 years of marriage together. Robert enjoyed gun collecting, hunting and fishing. He loved grilling, telling stories, and old country music.

He is survived by his wife, Sonia Hare of Bryson; mother, Connie Springer and husband Bill of Mineral Wells; 2 daughters, Tasha Kuyrkendall and husband Kasey of Yuba, OK, Veronica Hogue of Graham; 3 sons, Kenny Hare and wife Hali of Rosston, TX, John F. Hare of Graham, Austin Augustus Hare of Bryson; 13 grandchildren, and 3 brothers, Terry Hare of Palo Pinto, Nathan Hare of New Castle, and Keith Foster of Mineral Wells.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Hare.
