Robert Harper Wyatt, 65, of Haskell, Texas passed away May 23, 2013 at Hendrick Medical Center, in Abilene, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Haskell with Rev. Morris Johnson officiating. Burial will immediately follow at the Rule Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.
Robert was born in Gonzales, Texas August 19, 1947 to Harper Oren and Annie (Hibton) Wyatt. He married Rayma Trussell October 3, 1964 in Haskell. He resided most of his life in Rule, Texas and was a retired Tarrant County Deputy Sheriff. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #954 in Rule and enjoyed fishing and camping.
Robert is survived by his wife Rayma of Haskell; two daughters, Cindy Wyatt of Brownwood, Texas and Stacey Cook and husband Aylois of Stamford; five grandchildren; a great granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews; and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Lynn Wyatt; a daughter, Sherry Lynn Wyatt; a sister, Billie Jo Parker; and two brothers, Marvin Wyatt and (twin) Roger Wyatt.
