Roberta Walton, 84, a long time resident of Knox City, Texas, passed away on October 28, 2020. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at the Believers Chapel, Munday with Rev. Shannon Waters officiating. Burial will follow services at Knox City Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Knox City. A visitation is planned from 5:00-7:00 PM, Monday, November 2, 2020 at The Wooden Nickel, Knox City.
Roberta was born January 26, 1936 in Oklahoma City, OK to Eula (Gray) and George Wilson. Her life was praying for others needs. Roberta loved all her grandkids and she had the softest "Mama hands".
She is survived by her 4 daughters, Debbie Sandusky and husband J.D. of Knox City, Kay Pepper and husband Steve of Knox City, Galela Wofford and husband Benny of Noodle, TX, and Reba Eaton and husband Jay Bob of Eula; daughter-in-law, Sheri Walton of Clyde; 12 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson on the way; 3 sisters, Doris King, Frances Reagan, and Linda Wilkinson; and 3 brothers, Clarence Wilson, Melvin Wilson, and Richard West.
She is preceded in death by her father, George Melvin Wilson; mother, Oleta Gray West; second father, Carl West; son, Tom Walton, Jr.; and brother, Robert West.
