Ronny Lynn Caldwell

Ronny Lynn Caldwell, 62, a long time resident of Rochester, TX, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 2:00p.m., Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Rochester Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned from 4:00-5:00p.m., Sunday, April 8, 2018, at the funeral home, 200 S. Lincoln Ave., Rochester, TX.

Ronny was born February 9, 1956 in Haskell, to Edith Leona (Greenwood) and Leslie Sebren Caldwell. He married Sonja (King) on October 18, 1980 in Stamford. Ronny loved spending time with his grandkids, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Sonja Caldwell of Rochester; two sons, Aaron Lynn Caldwell and wife Martha of Rochester, and Jeffrey Lynn Caldwell of Anton; daughter, Kristie Huddleston and husband James of Rule; three grandsons, Bryson, Waylynn, and Justin; four granddaughters, Taylor, Kaylee, Leslie, and Arena; one great grandson on the way; sister, Sherry Lee and husband Coy of Stamford; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Edith (Greenwood) Caldwell; father, Leslie Sebren Caldwell; brother, Lester Gene Caldwell; and sister-in-law, Patricia Caldwell.
