Rose Guadalcazar

Rose Guadalcazar, 64, a longtime resident of Haskell, Texas, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 13, 2023, at the Church of Christ in Haskell, with Tim Johnson officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell. A visitation is planned from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 12, 2023, at the funeral home, 304 N. 2nd Street, Haskell, Texas.

Rose was born May 30, 1959 in Lockhart, Texas to Julia (Hernandez) and Ermine Ruiz. She loved spending time with her grandkids and family. She enjoyed cooking and reading the Bible.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse Guadalcazar, Jr. of Haskell; son, Jesse Guadalcazar, III and wife Christy of Wichita Falls; six grandsons, Caden Guadalcazar of Haskell, Seth Macias Guadalcazar of Abilene, Gauge Guadalcazar and Aubri Macias of Haskell, Blaze Guadalcazar of Wichita Falls, LJ Guadalcazar of Wichita Falls, JJ Guadalcazar of Wichita Falls; one granddaughter, Reagan Guadalcazar of Wichita Falls; one great grandson on the way: Asaiah Jason Guadalcazar; six sisters, Gloria, Trina, Janie, Eugenia, Rufina, and Irene; one brother, Joe; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Julia and Ermine Ruiz; son, Jason Guadalcazar; three sisters, Lucy, Sarah, Mary; and two brothers, Ben and Frank.
