Roy Hernandez Rodriquez, longtime resident of Knox City,Texas, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the age of 60. Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the Foursquare Church in Knox City, Texas under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.
Roy was born September 5, 1954, to David Rodriquez and Dominga (Hernandez) Rodriquez in Ft. McCavock, Texas. He lived in Knox City most of his life and was a member of Foursquare Church. He enjoyed drinking coffee with the veterans at Bud's Cafe, dominoes, working cattle and horses.
He is preceded in death by his father, David Rodriquez and two brothers, Jesse and Salvador Rodriquez.
Roy is survived by his daughter, Casey Bolding; son, Riley Rodriquez; mother, Dominga Rodriquez; three grandchildren, Gracie, Gavin and Tye; three brothers, Connie Rodriquez, Joe Rodriquez and Frankie Rodriquez; six sisters, Odelia Garcia, Sammie Offield, Stella Abila, (twin) Rachel Vasquez, Janie Bradford, and Vallia Magana; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
