Sarah Kathleen (Kathy) Jackson, lifelong resident of Throckmorton, Texas passed away at her home on Sunday afternoon, September 8, 2013. She was 54. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel in Throckmorton with Rev. Peter Parker. Arrangements were made under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.
Kathy was born on May 3, 1959 in Olney, Texas to Nancy (Rodgers) and Freddie H. Jackson. She was a caretaker for many including her father who preceded her in death on August 5, 2013. Kathy enjoyed shopping for and collecting antiques and a "good day" fishing. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Throckmorton.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mikey Little; mother, Nancy; brother, Dee Jackson; and grandparents, Archie & Ruth Jackson.
She is survived by her 2 sisters, Stephanie Wyatt and husband Thomas of Jacksboro, Texas, and Kim Jackson Leo and husband Chris of Gardnerville, Nevada; sister-in-law, Sherri Jackson of Throckmorton; uncle, Robert Jackson and wife Maxie of Throckmorton; 5 nieces; 1 nephew; and a step-sister, Lana Barnard of Knox City.
