Sharon Ann Jones

Sharon Jones, 80, of Rochester, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026.

A memorial service celebrating Sharon’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Bethel Assembly Church in Stamford, Texas with Rev. Riley Carver officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Sharon was born on December 20, 1945, in Pueblo, Colorado, to John and Helen (Ruden) Kincaid. She married Alvie Jones in Pueblo, Colorado, on March 6, 1945.

Sharon cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed raising and feeding cattle and loved watching rodeos.

Sharon is survived by her three daughters, Leslie Williamson and husband Kelly, Kim Lane, and Spivey Jones; two sons, Nick Jones and wife Tammy, and Snuffy Jones and wife Jamie; ten grandchildren, Erika, Dala, Shana, Courtney, Kyle, Jason, Shelbi, Linda, Sydney, and Brody; eight great-grandchildren, Jayden, Jaycee, Jacob, Caleb, Ellie, Cason, Jay, and Zane; her brother, John Kincaid; her special dog, Oz; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Kincaid; her husband, Alvie Jones; and her two sisters, Darlene Moore and Baby Kincaid.

Sharon will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
