Shirley (Herricks) Hudgens Weston, longtime resident of Rochester, Texas passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Windcrest Healthcare Center in Abilene, Texas at the age of 76. Graveside services will be held at 9:00 a.m., Friday, July 3, 2015 at Weinert Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.
Shirley was born November 20, 1938 in Weinert, Texas to Roy Herricks and Oma Mae (Turnbow) Herricks. She lived most of her life in Weinert and Rochester,Texas. She was a member of Faith Chapel in Rochester, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Paul Hudgens; parents, Roy Herricks and Oma Mae (Turnbow) Herricks; brother, Rex Herricks; granddaughter, Brittany Hudgens.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Paula Hise and husband Randy of Haskell, Texas; son, Jerry Don Hudgens and wife Donita of Haskell, Texas; husband, Larry Weston of Rochester, Texas; two grandsons, Bryce and wife Ashley Hudgens of Springtown, Texas and Caleb Hudgens of San Marcos, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Vance and Holly Hudgens of Springtown,Texas; two sisters-in-law, Tinka Herricks Nelson of Haskell, Texas and Evelyn Hudgens of Saginaw, Texas; and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
