Stewart Watson "S.W." Adams, Jr.

Stewart Watson "S.W." Adams, Jr., longtime resident of Haskell, Texas passed away Friday, October 3, 2014, at the Vernon Nursing Rehab in Vernon, Texas. Mr. Adams was 70. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 9, 2014, at Willow Cemetery with Rev. David White officiating. Arrangements were made under the care of Smith Family Funeral Homes of Haskell. A family visitation is planned at noon the day of the services at the funeral home located at 304 N. 2nd Street.

The youngest of 10 children, "S.W." was born January 20, 1944, in Haskell, Texas to Mannie Ann (McGregor) and Stewart Watson Adams, Sr. "S.W." spent his life farming and caring for his parents. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Haskell.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mannie and Stewart Adams, Sr.; a sister, Golda Mae (Bouldin) Isbell; and 5 brothers, Olan Junior Bouldin, Merrill Dean Bouldin, Dellie Jo Bouldin, J.L. Bouldin, and Bobby Orrin Bouldin.

"S.W." is survived by his sister, Joyce Virginia Hise of Graham, Texas; 2 brothers, Carl Nathan Bouldin and wife Arlene of Bridgeport, Texas, and Mount Ollan Bouldin of Paradise, Texas; sister-in-law, Francis Bouldin of Weatherford, Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
