Thelma Boone, 92, of Haskell, Texas passed away Thursday morning, November 8, 2012 at Haskell Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 12, 2012 at Willow Cemetery with Rev. Dan Bullock officiating. Visitation is planned for 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 11 at the funeral home. Arrangements were made under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes of Haskell.
Thelma Landess was born March 11, 1920 in the Howard Community, Texas to J.A. and Ruth (McKinney) Landess. She married Wallace Boone on February 6, 1948 in Haskell.
Mrs. Boone is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Boone; her parents, J.A. and Ruth Landess; and 2 brothers, R.T. Landess and Jack Landess.
Thelma is survived by her 2 daughters, Judy Boone of Abilene, and Brenda Boone of Weinert.
