Toni Cline

Toni Cline, talented Hairdresser, and beloved Granmudder and Nanna, who brought joy to all who knew her, passed away peacefully at her home in the early morning hours of August 18, 2023, at the age of 74.

Toni was born September 6, 1948, in Haskell, Texas to Howell and Christene Greene.  She came from a loving family and was the youngest of three girls.  She attended Haskell High school where she was a stand-out basketball star.

After graduating high school, Toni pursued her passion for styling hair.  She was known for her larger-than-life personality and hair that matched it.  She worked as a beautician for more than fifty years, most of which were in her own salon, Robbie's Beauty Shop.  However, the occupation she was most proud of was being a mother, Grandmudder, and Nanna.

After retiring from hairdressing, Toni enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

As a passionate dog lover, Toni also considered her terriers, Fiesty and Soupy, to be members of her family. Together, they would accompany her to the beauty shop and spend her final days showering her with love and kisses.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howell and Christene Greene, sister, Paula Mills, and many beloved pets.

She is survived by her life companion, Jack Cline of Haskell, sister Carol Pipkin of Granbury, daughter Rebecca and husband Derrick Franklin of Abilene, daughter Gwynn and husband Duane Roberson of Woodson, and daughter Stephanie and husband Carlton Emmons of Ft. Worth, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Toni will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her vibrant spirit, kindness, and the ability to find beauty in all people will continue to inspire and uplift us all.
