Trula Mae Brown, of Lubbock, Texas, was gathered to her people on December 10, 2020. She was born in Quail, Texas on February 13, 1920 to Roy and Eva Willingham. Preceding her passing were her parents, her husband Claude, brothers Roy and Charles Willingham, daughter-in-law Sarah Brown, and great grandson, Kason Harrell.

She spent her life being a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. During her seventy four years of marriage to Claude, a Church of Christ minister, she made her home in many places, notably Throckmorton, Dalhart, Sweetwater, and Rowlett, Texas, Newark, Delaware, as well as Aruba, Netherland Antilles and Saint Martin, Caribbean.

She is survived by son, Art Brown of Athens, Texas, son Charles Brown and wife Judy of Lubbock, Texas, granddaughter Becky Buckingham of Santa Fe, New Mexico, grandson, Toby Brown and wife Jennifer of Tulia, Texas, granddaughter Tracy Cutts and husband David of Garland, Texas, grandson, Joe Don Brown of Garland, Texas, great grandchildren, Channing Harrell of Dallas, Texas, Slade Harrell of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Justin, Laura, and Emma Brown of Tulia, Texas, two nieces and four nephews.

A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Throckmorton Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Throckmorton. Because of the Covid-19 situation, family only will be present.
