Vivian Jarred Shaw, 98, a longtime resident of Haskell, Texas, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, June 5, 2021, at the Church of Christ, Haskell with Mr. Phillip Sims officiating. Burial will follow service at Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell. A visitation is planned from 6:00-7:00PM, Friday, June 4, 2021 at the funeral home, 304 N. 2nd St., Haskell.
Vivian was born February 28, 1923 in Stamford, Texas to Uriel Jarred and Mollie (Decker). She married Bill Shaw in Aspermont of '46. Vivian was a homemaker and liked to Crochet.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Billy Bob Shaw of Abilene, Randy Shaw and wife Lisa of Haskell; 4 grandchildren, Druann Thomas (Kendall), Shawna Bonham, Jason Shaw (Sara), and A.J. Shaw (Sarah); 6 great grandchildren, Audie Shaw, Seth Shaw, Max Shaw, Gracie White, Bubba Bonham, and Alexander McGettes.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Uriel and Mollie Jarred; husband, Bill Shaw; daughter-in-law, Jeana Shaw; 2 brothers, Jack Jarred and wife Alta, Uriel Jarred, Jr and wife Maudine; sister-in-law, June Owens and husband Denzal.
Memorials may be made in Vivian's name to the Experienced Citizens Center: 1404 S. 1st Street, Haskell, TX 79521.
